Peyton got rid of the deadwood like Shane Wright, Lachlan Burr, Mitch Dunn and Ben Hampton who were the cowboys version of say Fitz, Crossland, Jones, Mann, Johns, Saulo etc and replaced them with experienced guys like Hiku and Townsend and young talent like Luki, Naeme, Nanai, etc. Unfortunately AOB is unwilling to do away with the deadwoodDoes anyone remember just how shit the Cowboys were last year? They are so good to watch now. Didn't take Peyton long to turn them around at all.
Yes they have some real good talent across the board, but they just look like a well drilled unit now.
Barnett 13, Mann 14.Adam Elliott has been in quite good form for the last month or so. Nice to see.
I said early on that Best settled into top grade as smooth as anyone so young since Brad Fittler. Kiraz only just made grade now but how settled does he look 5 games in.Is Jacob Kiraz better than Bradman Best?
We and the media seem to hype Best up so much and I'm sure he's on a fair contract based solely on potential.
Meanwhile we had Jacob Kiraz here on peanuts and let him go.
Sure it's a lot more involved than that, but it seems to be how things go for the Knights lately.
And we'd deserve itAfter this Bulldogs game we now;
- Rank LAST for points scored per game
- Have the WORST for and against in the competition
- 2nd worst defence, only behind the Warriors.
It's not crazy to say that by the end of round 16, we may be sitting in last if we lose to the Raiders and Titans.
Other teams were still in off season mode for the first 2 rounds and we got there in round 3 onwardsWhat actually happened after round 2, has anyone any idea of why we were zinging along for two games and then the wheels fell off, was a big rig, wheels continue to fall.
Something isn’t right in the camp
