I'm an eels fan and watched him since his debut. He had one cracker year in 22 but that's it. He's useless without Moses and mediocre with him. Sharpe is a WAY better player than Brown. I honestly hope he recaptures that 22 form but highly doubt it . Don't say I didn't warn you

He’s only 24 years old and yet to come into his prime years. He’s been in an awful team at the Eels that’s been getting progressively worse. I just don’t know why anyone would completely write a player off in that situation. As Knights fans we’re all fully aware the signing might not work out, but it’s completely reasonable to suspect that a player that has natural skills, but has stagnated in a poor team with poor coaching, is a good chance of improving at a new club.

Even Moses, who the Eels game plan is completely built around, couldn’t help the Eels win more than 38% of the games he was in last year. Does that mean Moses is a crap player, or is the team just shit?

For the first time since leaving the Newcastle Knights, Jenkins has opened up about his departure from the club, which saw him granted an early release from his contract - he was meant to be with them for the 2025 NRL season.

"It wasn't a bad blood thing with the Knights. It was a mutual thing and what's best for both of us in that sense," Jenkins told Zero Tackle.

"It was a really good opportunity. I needed to go away and chase something and enjoy it.

Good luck to the kid. He came here for an opportunity, it didn’t work out and he left without slagging off the club. Not sure why anyone would be hoping to see him fail- reserve that hate for the likes of Ramien.
