No they're now saying we would have been better off signing DCE over Brown.

TBH it is a fair question, but not one the Knights could have possibly foreseen. We also tried this already with Pearce.

I mean sure, If DCE was a couple of years younger I’d prefer him over Brown, but he’s not going to help us hold onto KP when he’ll be gone by the time his current contract ends and we have to start again.

I feel the end result is they are pissed their favourite play things, The Roosters and Ricky Stuart are having their bubbles burst so publicly.
Surely the Murdoch owned Fox favorite play thing has to be the Murdoch owned Broncos.

Mick Ennis wants to have Reece Walsh's baby.

Before Reece Walsh at the Broncos - KP was the whiz kid, the wholesome good guy, doing Fox Promo's

After Reece Walsh at the Broncos - KP is greedy, turns his back on representing Australia, and steals Dally M awards.

Dylan Walker has signed with Parramatta. Now Hindmarsh has suggested Brown should be let go early. Add the DCE circus and it would not shock if a domino effect starts with halves to completely overshadow the season.

The actual game is in there somewhere among the media bloodshed. I had to LOL that Cherry went to Fairfax. News Ltd were seething that he orchestrated it without their knowledge. I will give him kudos for that. But it appears Manly were waiting as he had asked them to. Peter Peters absolutely roasted him this morning.

The whole thing adds to the whole rugby league soap opera. Love it. At least it’s given the media something to talk about other than how terrible the Dylan Brown deal is.

That’s a hell of a lot of cap space we’ll need to have to fit him in. You’d have to think we’d be looking at $400,000+ to get 6 months out of him.

Why do people keep saying that? Move him on now. We can’t afford him this year unless someone else moves on, Hastings?
And why would he go to a different club just for this year.

For the chance of being re-signed to a new contract for 2026? He’s not going to be re-signed by the Knights so if I were him I’d be trying to get to a new club and prove valuable to get a new contract.

Brown is on $1m+ this season and is only about 5 months into the current year. We’ll need to release both Hastings and Brailey early in order to afford him. NRL won’t register his contract here if we’re paying him significantly under his current value.

Brown is not at fault. He has also never agitated to come here early nor have we considered it. Hooper is a notorious bully.
He does it Caryannis. He did it to Maroon. He is a little man with a fragile ego.

Sorry, I meant if we can’t release anyone, why would Brown go to a 3rd club (as some on 360 suggested) for the rest of this year.
