Just had a look at some betting odds and we are $4.00 favourites to win the spoon. God that is a depressing thing to see when 10 years ago we were embarking on the beginning of a massive club-wide rebuild which resulted in 3 spoons on the trot and a whole roster overhaul, all of which was under the pretence that we would be a real force at the end of it all. Now look at where we’re at.

The worst part is I actually can’t see how we don’t get the spoon at this stage. A couple of the teams down there with us are way better than their results would show, and at least teams like Parramatta attack better than us and have just had their gun halfback return from injury.

We need improved performances asap. I don’t expect us to win tomorrow but jeez we need to play well and make it a game.

I know we are a basket case but the Titans are just as terrible I reckon.

Really the only thing the Titans can hang their hat on as a club is that for about 20 mins per game they play really entertaining footy.

We haven’t even achieved that so far this season but for all the criticism aimed at us we’ve at least made the finals on a regular basis over the last 5 years. The Titans really a club that doesn’t have a defined identity, not one they would want anyway.

The Titans would beat us 20+ right now. Them falling apart in games only matters if their opposition can score points.

I'd rather be defensively solid (mostly) and boring than be "entertaining" and have near zero commitment to defence
