parramatta chief executive Paul Osborne is certainly winning favour with those who matter most.
Major sponsor Pirtek ,signed until the end of 2010,will meet the eels boss in coming weeks to talk about extending the deal for a further three years. The club is also in talks with corporates from Painaway.

Painaway seems to be involved with the players already. I'm sure that Hayne, Fui & Morts wouldn't be all mentioning the product in random interviews for free. ;-)

Man a club like ours, I find it hard to believe we can't get a blue chip sponsor? I don't mind Pirtek but a big Nike swoosh sign would look cool across the front of the jersey? Notice with the "one town teams" they get all the big sponsors eg Cowboys - Toyota, Gold Coast - JetStar, even the Roosters have Samsung. Of course to do with population exposure but isn't Western Sydney the 3rd biggest economy in Australia???? And Parra undoubtedly one of the best supported clubs if not best supported clubs in the game?????

Spot on mate. I think Ossie has the same idea. He talks so highly of the club. One of, if not the biggest supported club in the league with a huge fan base right across australia.

In ossie we trust!

and yet we only average 12K at home games. :(

I personally think that we should have a reliable sponsor that stick with us through the good times and bad. This may cost us some dollars but don't want to see the fly-by-nighters who run as soon as you drop out of the eight.
