i backed a hot pot at darwin today that jumped out of the barriers well, drifted back to 8th and kept going backwards all the way down the straight. Makes you wonder sometimes...

It sure does make you wonder.
At work we just hired a new bloke in one of the major roles and he's into gambling big time. He's told me he never used the TAB's anymore, he has a few accounts with the main bookies but what he usually does is use Betfair. In races he now lays horses to lose and back horses to win. He said since using Betfair he'll never go back. Now he is a 'big' punter so in the long he'll end up getting better prices and percentages and such. For the small punter like myself it doesn't make a huge difference but it will always make you think if the race has been rigged or not.
