The situation around Dank and Hibbert getting access shows just shoddy the place was run. A fall guy was needed and the Sharks were perfect for the role.

To the eternal credit of some key people in the years since, the Sharks now have more money and growing influence. Dino has a lot more respect and influence in the game than previous CEOs. The growth of the club in the past 8-10 years is commendable.

First time in our existence that we’ve had proper governance.... plenty had good intentions but not necessarily the business acumen required. Most obvious current example of a shambles of a board is the Goons.... Doust.....Albert and the old boys club. Can only hope the shambles continues down there for many years to come.
