Night 3 Results
3rd Test
Day 1
“England will open the batting for this third test, and I hope we can get through a game without losing a life”
“These renegade Victorians really are wrecking this grand spectacle”
Cook and Trott both fell, and it was time for KP, the naturalised Victorian, to take the pitch. But once again, he had taken his bat and ball and gone home.
It was an outstanding day for the Australian bowlers, with the English order crumbling from aggressive bowling by Siddle and Pattinson. James Anderson came to bat but didn’t last long as Pattinson slipped out one of his trademark ‘accidental’ beamers. This one had some late swing into the Adams apple of James Anderson, who was no match for Pattinson’s pace.

“Well I guess that was just wishful thinking then”
Day 2
Australia came out to bat early in the morning, Ed Cowan and Shane Watson taking the crease together following the death of Chris Rogers.
“I saw Ed Cowan receiving some batting tips from Kevin Pietersen earlier today. That’s a bad person for him to be associating with after what’s gone down”
“Yes that really is a bad look for Ed”
Australia batted well. Let’s just say they got 600 in a day and declared.
Day 3
“Very, very big ask for England here today”
James Pattinson steamed in and once again let rip a flying beamer, but this was was wide enough as to not hurt Alistair Cook. Matthew Wade tried to catch it, but his typical bumbling self let the ball bounce off his gloves and take his head off.
