6. If you don't have a basic understanding of Cricket, you suck.
7. Remember to PM in your day or night actions. This is designated within your PM. Failure to do so will make your action void and it won’t take effect. (Label each PM with the correct Phase EG - Night 3 Action - Day 4 Action etc.)
8. Check your PM's during both phases to make sure you have no special criteria for that given phase, it's not my responsibility to chase you up on this. If you have a SmartPhone turn notifications ON.
9. If you don't want to use your night action, still send a PM saying you will not take an action to night, to speed phases up.

“Good morning ladies and gentlemen, I’m RHCP and welcome to the very first Test of the Investec Ashes series. Alongside me I have a very special guest, the one and only Shane Warne. Warney, how are you feeling?”
“I’m feeling really good RHCP, the start of an Ashes series is always exciting and I can’t wait for this match to get started. There’s a lot of promising players out there, for fans at home I’d be keeping an eye on Peter Siddle and James Pattinson, I’m expecting some big performances out of those two. Victorians usually do it better. For the English side, I think Kevin Pietersen has the potential to really trouble the Aussie pace attack”, replied Warney.
“All very good observations Shane. I’ve been down to the pitch, and I can that it is looking uncharacteristically cracked up”
“This should fall right into the hands of the fast bowlers. Batsmen may struggle.”
“Indeed. The full team lineups have just been sent up to us and they are slightly different to what was first indicated. Opening the batting for the Australian side will be Ed Cowan and Chris Rogers with Shane Watson at first drop. Michael Clarke will captain the side from number four, followed by Phil Hughes and Brad Haddin rounding out the top six. Hads will be playing as a specialist batsman in this one, with the gloves belonging to number seven Matthew Wade. The tail is comprised of debutant James Faulkner, Peter Siddle, James Pattinson and Nathan Lyon. Glenn Maxwell is the 12th man and he will carry the drinks for the Aussies this morning.”
“Very shocking move to not select Glenn Maxwell in the first XI. That bloke has all the toys”, interjected Warne.
“Yes Shane, I’m sure he does. Now for the English side, which also has some very slight changes to the squad which was initially announced. Opening the batting and captaining the side is Alistair Cook. The batting lineup below him reads as follows: Nick Compton, Jonathan Trott, Kevin Pietersen, Ian Bell, Joe Root, Matt Prior, Graeme Swann, James Anderson, Stuart Broad and Steven Finn. The 12th man for today is Monty Panesar”.
Alistair Cook and Michael Clarke then made their way out to the pitch for the toss with the match umpires. Billy Bowden flipped the coin and as it turned in the air awaiting the call from Alistair Cook, the clouds began to darken and swirl. Birds fled the ground and children began to cry. The coin hit the ground but Cook, Clarke, RHCP and Warney’s minds were elsewhere. They weren’t sure what was going on, but it certainly wasn’t cricket. Bowden chastised Cook for not paying attention and he, forever bending the rules like his forever bent finger, gave the call to Clarke instead.
“Heads,” called Clarke tentatively. It was the correct call.
“Well, will you bat first”, asked Bowden, “or will you field?”
Clarke took a deep breath. There was something amiss about this Ashes series, but he couldn’t put his finger on what this sinister energy was.
“The atmosphere around the ground has certainly shifted”, stated RHCP.
“Yes you’re right. Clarke looks uncomfortable”, added Warne.
“As does Cook. Bowden seems slightly agitated Pup won’t get on with it”.
After a short deliberation, Clarke finally made his decision.
“We would like to…”
It is now DAY ONE. With 25 alive, it is 13 to lynch.
Day will end at 9am tomorrow.
