South Sydney Rabbitohs Football Operations Manager Tony Henderson was involved in his 800th game with the Rabbitohs last Sunday when the men in red and green defeated the Penrith Panthers at ANZ Stadium.
Tony registered Game 800 almost 36 years to the day since the first game he was involved in back in the 1976, a round 16 clash with the Eastern Suburbs Roosters at the Sydney Sports Ground played on Sunday 4 July at 3pm.
Tony began at the Rabbitohs as a masseur, progressing to become the team's strapper, trainer, head trainer and Football Manager over the years.
He also represented NSW in State of Origin as trainer and head trainer, and was involved in one Test match for Australia as a trainer.
'Hendo', as he is affectionately known around the Club, was also a Board Member of the Football Club and was awarded Life Membership in the 1990's for his services to the Club.
Tony has seen and experienced many of the highs and lows associated with the Rabbitohs over the past four decades, and he is open to answering your questions about his time at the Club.
The team at www.rabbitohs.com.au will pick a selection of questions which Tony will answer, giving you a unique perspective into his 36 years at the Rabbitohs.
To send through a question, please email socialmedia@rabbitohs.com.au with your name, Member number and your question, and we will post Hendo's answers later this week.
Congratulations to Tony Henderson on reaching the massive milestone of 800 games!
Hendo's Rabbitohs Record:
