At what point will the rugby league world admit To'o the the best winger to play the game

Until he scores 3 tries in a gf and graciously gives up the 4th for a retiring legend, he's got nothing on the Wang man.

All these plod wingers mentioned as the GOAT FFS. Besmirching the thread. You pelicans. You absolute lemons. You gobsmackingly unintelligent pack of guinea fowl

There is only one. None of these other Merkins have a weekly award named after them

Martin Offiah is the greatest winger of all time IMHO. I haven't ever seen anyone top Noa Nadruku 93-96 in Australia though.

Brian To'o is a f**kin good player though, no doubt.

Offiah is definitely in the conversation (great nickname too). His defence (or relative lack thereof) was a glaring weakness though . Can recall him running away from contact on one occasion a la Bear Ryan on Manu Vatuvai .

Ken Irvine is the best . Only saw him over the last 3 years of his career and his try scoring record speaks for itself. “Mongo” scored the bulk of his tries with the cellar dwellings Bears which makes his record even more impressive .

In terms of speed he held the world 100 yard record in his early 20s at 9.3 secs (the same as Michael Cleary’s best. )He had an upright running style with short steps similar to Offiah’s) .

Did very well for NSW as well. How many wingers have 3 premierships and 4 GFs in their resume?

I don't think that's necessarily a good way to show how good To'o is to be honest, he's done all that because he's in one of the greatest teams of the NRL era and the wing whilst important isn't a game changing position for the most part.

Also, if we are judging by premiership wins, Johnny King has 7 with a better try scoring rate.

To'o is a tiny prop who's lucky Penrith's systems are so good they don't need a real winger

I’ve legit never seen the guy have a bad game, or even an average game. His worst game is an 8 out of 10.

To answer your question though, it will be in the off season when he signs with the tigers

Surely the great Phil Duke from the Moree Boomerangs tops all the wingers mentioned. Played SOO before he even played in the NRL (or whatever it was called back then). Even To'o can't make that claim.
