Assuming Kyle will be re-signed, I'd say he will be moved into the 13 role. He has every attribute to be a success there. Big enough body, good defence & can obviously be that link man ala Yeo. Also gives another kicking option, both in play and goal kicking.

No he is not big enough. However he is brave enough so lock would not be good for his health. Liddle - 94 kg - also not big enough.

I suspect Flanno didn't have a high opinion of him when he first got the coaching job but Liddle has since surprised him a bit. And Liddle was pretty good this year, just overworked playing 80 minutes every game. Both coaches have spoken well of him since the season ended so wouldn't be surprised if they kept him at the right price. Maybe KF gets the utility spot once Cook retires.

Liddle was one of the best in the pack this year. Him and Sua.

So happy with this signing. Atkinson was really impressive in 2024. Illias needs to really shine this year if he wants the 7 to partner Atkinson. I think he will and if so it will be a pretty solid halves combo with quite a few years ahead of them. Kyle I feel may end up a lock or hooker. His defence is pretty good. I am sure his dad will sort this out and put him in a place he is more suited to the team. One thing about Kyle is he put in 100%. His effort is 2nd to none. Flanno bringing in Illias and Atkinson seems like a plan he has which does not include Kyle in the halves. If Kyle was a long term half he would not of got these 2 signings.
