Is it just me or have players from the Bucks county sharks and Northern raiders been shunned again?

There's one player from the Raiders, Alovili. Once again the third placed Sharks have been snubbed in favour of the fifth placed Bulls. Third time this year.

why is Clint Newton not named? and I remember Charlie Leaneo being mentioned where is he playing? The Jamaican forward pack is pretty strong as well Ross Peltier and Wes Haughton and both big lads who will trouble the tomahawks shame Ryan Bailey is not playing. I'm tipping Jamaica to win and qualify for the World Cup. As for the USA if they don't make the World Cup then most likely the Star Group and We are Rugby will end their partnership with the AMNRL leaving the AMNRL no other option but to head to the USARL

Newton has only once shown any interest in playing international RL, and that was in the months before the RLWC 2008, when he touted himself around all four home nations only to find he wasn't eligible for any of them.

must mean the sharks are coming to the USARL

That thought has crossed my mind, too. It's inconceivable that no Sharks player is good enough to, or wants to, play for the National team.

If, IF, players are being excluded on the basis that the Sharks are considering switching to the USARL then Niu et al are taking pettiness to a new low.

Given the squad chosen by USA there team will look something like this:

1. Matt Petersen
2. Nate Smith
3. Keiki Misipeka
4. David Myles
5. Tyrone Coppedge / Sione Taufa
6. Ryan McGoldrick
7. David Marando
13. Mark Offerdahl
12. Joseph Paulo
11. Mark Cantoni
10. Junior Paulo
9. Apple Pope
8.Salesi Tongamoa
14. Curtis Cunz
15. Sean Taylor
16. ?
17. ?

Not a bad side and has plenty of grunt in the forwards and some strike in the halves and at fullback, all key ingredients for success.

As for Jamaica, I would imagine it may look something like:

1. Paul White
2. Jamal Chisholm
3. Waine Pryce
4. Corey Hanson
5. Wayne Rettie
6. Karl Pryce
7. Jymel Coleman
13. Joseph Brown
12. Lamont Bryant
11. Tyronie Rowe
10. Ross Peltier
9. Jamaine Wray
8. Jode Sheriffe
14. Roy Calvert
15. Romaen Campbell / Sandino Hastings
16. Sam Williamson
17. ?

The only concern I see for the Jamaican side is lack of experienced halves. They have great outside backs and speed to burn, but to get those players the ball you need ball players. This will be the challenge for the Jamaicans.

As for South Africa - I have no idea!!! But will be great to see them competing on the international stage and let's hope this is the start of seeing South Africa playing regular matches.

South Africa are going to get murdered without any professional players. At least one would have helped them but going in with a full squad of amateur players?? against Jamaica and the USA who have at least 8 good luck to them if they win any games. Jamaica should win this.
