Does anyone know what promo events etc the guys will be doing when they are in Melbourne for OriginIII? Anyone know where I can find out their movements so I could finally get my jersey signed by Hindy and the lads ??
I can never get to go to the fan day in NSW !

State of Origin III
A reminder that State of Origin will be coming to Melbourne with game 3 being played at Telstra Dome on Wednesday July 5. There will be a number of activities in the lead up to the game including the State of Origin Fan Day at Federation Square on Friday June 30 from 12 pm and the State of Origin Junior Development Day at Gosch’s Paddock on Saturday July 1 from 9.00 am.

Last weekday of the school holidays.

There's also a luncheon on Tuesday, the day before Origin 3 but prices are a bit steep. $220 or thereabouts each.

There should also be some training sessions open to the media and public but exact times, dates and locations haven't been released yet. I'd say most likely locations would be Storm's training ground and/or home ground, ie Princes Park north of the city or Olympic Park in Melbourne's sporting precinct. Tram 19 (North Coburg) from the city for PP or Tram 70 (Wattlepark, I'm pretty sure 70 is right if not then it's 75), or train to Richmond station and walk down Swan St back towards the city, for OP.

I heard they would be down there for a full week leading up to the game.

Surandy: You sound like you are a local. I will be down there with some lads for the match, where is the best place to kill about 6 hours after the match and before the World Cup 2nd Semi final which i think starts at 5am the following morning. I am guessing the Casino, but do you know of other options?
