After watching Saturday nights win, in a very ordinary game, I think the Sharks lack options in attack. I know Noddy isn't there, and Kent is doing a good fill-in job, but our play is very predictable. Maybe kicking early on for our outside backs, spreading the ball early in the tackle count, but more importantly what about some decoy runners or switch of plays.
If we run one up against the Bulldogs their bigger forwards are going to smash us. I've also notice our forwards are not offloading as much.
What does everyone think??????

Defence is, our defence was satisfactory against the Warriors.
We conceeded only 14, like we did against Parra and only one game all season was it lower 12 from the tigers in the first round.
If we can keep teams to under 20 points we can win, this is what will count.

If we are to beat the Bulldogs, it will be our defensive effort that wins it for us.
Field position and ball control are good for 24 points.

and hopefully Anasta doesn't get away with that flop on the 5th tackle like he did in the 1st round, vintage academy award stuff that and that idiot Tony Archer fell for it. We deserved to win that game not have it taken away from us by the Anasta/Archer debackle. To pay Anasta back we need someone to blind side him the first time he touches the ball, do you think we could borrow Morley for a one off game.

this is a silly thread.
we lead the NRL in offloads.
& they are not the Canberra type of crappy offloads around the ruck.
they are quality offloads in Traffic.
our problem is we dont have Lomu aiming up week in week out.
If he did & our quicks got more involved we would score more points.

We are positioned very well for the semis.

Defense will improve.

Silly thread! Your kidding. Lomu is not the only problem, yes he hasn't aimed up to expectations but the problem stems from those who are supposed to be controlling play. When Noddy is there, things are ok, but help on the other side of the ruck would help. When he's not there, heaps of tries go astray and the forwards lack direction. And the backs don't get enough early quality ball.
