Ah, you must love Steve Young then.
Brady is more accurate than both of those players, gave away less turnovers and could read defences better than any player ever. You don’t need a huge arm and throw 50m bombs when you can just destroy defences with shorter passes.
In saying that, Brady has thrown 649 touchdowns of 40+ yards, so it’s not like he can’t throw downfield.
I would agree. So a guy who is perceived as always doing 'clutch' shit might just be in a team that is often in games that go down to the wire.I’d say he didn’t come up with game-winning plays as often as those other players because he didn’t have to. He and his team were good enough to not need a game-winning play so often.
And this is the stuff they mean when they say a player does things the fans don’t notice. Usually it’s consistent effort plays, just background noise for fans and commentators. It’s a stat.
Not the only stat that matters.
For the record, I don’t believe players can be judged on stats alone. They can be used to back up one’s view of how they play, however. Sometimes I might think a player has done nothing in a game, but then by looking at the stats I can see they got through a lot more work than I thought I saw.
Every team needs backups, just like us last year.
Harper to the Warriors..
Must have like his game for the Storm
1%'s??!!!Usually it’s consistent effort plays,
Why do you think the Warriors signed him? Are they just not as good at spotting talent as you?Defensive powerhouse. Check out his stats
My favourite are the Coffin Cheaters. How about you?1%'s??!!!
It's the kicking that would hold him back. Halves at least need to be a secondary kicking option. On top of this, halves (and fullbacks) do a lot more running off the ball than outside backs, which is why they tend to be smaller or lighter. All that running would fatigue a bigger player like Penisini. Which isn't to say there aren't big, low energy spine players (e.g. Latrell Mitchell) but these guys are usually elite talents and their teams are trying to get them more involved. The trade off is that they do less movement off the ball and their teams have to compensate in other ways.I think Penisini practicing it 5/8 would be a good idea except that it would be difficult to go from a ball runner to a ball player in the nrl when they spend all their time at training working on wrestling. Where is he going to learn the ball playing skills?
I know you never asked me but..My favourite are the Coffin Cheaters. How about you?

Yeah but not like Josh Allen or Mahomes. It would actually be interesting how Brady and Manning would of went in this current era. These days Qbs need to be a dual threat. It is a bit like halfback in our game as well.
I'd hardly call Stafford a 'dual threat' and he won a superbowl 3 years ago.Yeah but not like Josh Allen or Mahomes. It would actually be interesting how Brady and Manning would of went in this current era. These days Qbs need to be a dual threat. It is a bit like halfback in our game as well.

Dragons last hey. Well, I suppose someone has to get it. Personally, I think Dolphins or Raiders more likely, but this appears to be the closest comp in years. Barring Panthers, Storms and maybe Sharks, anyone could finish anywhere. The Guardian has us finishing second last in 2025:
