Attracting members to this forum

Why is there such a shortage of members on this particular forum? There is only a few that go on here like me, caged panther, parra_panther and big mick. Even the souths forum has more posters then in here.
Is there any way that we can get more members in here?

There's a lot more than what there use to be. When I first came on here there was only SP, Mick, Caged Panther, mightypanther and Fibroman as the regulars ( I will apologise now if I have forgotten anyone ).

It's increased since then and there are plenty of regulars who contribute daily. I often look in and find anywhere between 3 to 8 members/guests viewing at one time.

I would find it hard to believe the Souths section have more active members than us. The Penrith section has become the 6th most active forum behind the Eels, Sharks, Knights, Raiders and Dragons and it's always increasing.

We left the Roosters for dead... when Fibro decreased his trolling in there. :lol:

It's because we've got a decent official forum where everyone posts. If that ever shuts down this place will take off.

It just seems that there is nobody posting on here at all.

well i can always restart the top 10 members who post here the most again

while i was doing that there was quite a bit of activity around

oh btw, im still around aswell, and i remember times on a forum where i was the only penrith fan (old Rleague forums in 2001/2002) god that sucked i was talking to myself for just over a year before caged panther joined up

That's pretty much right.

Parra has an official forum still but it is apparently over moderated in the way of you having to wait until your post is moderated before it appears on the forum.

I'm not sure on the Dragons though. They may have an exclusive member only forum??

I think this forum does alright considering Penrith has an official forum. Although I definately wouldnt knock back more activity/members here.

Posting articles for member feedbacks, airing questions that may draw debate between new and regular members always helps to increase the traffic flow.

well i normally only post here, but i have recently signed up for the panthers official forum, but i am not getting a good reception in there..... ha ha ha

but i am a bit picky with what threads i post on. boring whinging post dont interest me. and i am a bit biased towards the forward pack. so i tend to only post in those.

props to big mick though. one poster who knows the team well. i will buy him a beer at the next game i get to

I am a self confessed forum addict in respect of accessing the Panthers fourm on League Unlimited and Panthers Interactive 24/7.

While I read the forums each and every day I am inconsistent in terms of posting. I go through stages where I will post fairly regularly (for me anyway) and then I will go for a couple of weeks where I don't make posts on either forum.

I must confess I am most prolific in terms of posting when I have had a few drinks! This is probably reflected in the quality of the posts that I make and it is natural to conclude the more alcoholic beverages I have consumed the increase in the number of spelling mistakes and general poor quality of the posts.

Most Panther supporters are oblivious to the fact League Unlimited even exists. They are generally computer illiterate and I have many friends, who are passionate Panthers supporters, who despite my trying to educate them, still are unaware of the existance of League Unlimited. I must confess I too was unaware until being educated a couple of seasons back by Fibroman.

I enjoy reading and posting on the Panthers forum in League Unlimited more over PI because you recognise the passion in the supporters. Don't worry about attracting members to the forum because if they really want or need to find us they will!

True, true. We are all a very unique bunch if I so say myself and enjoy reading everyone on here whether I agree or I don't.

I'm back on PI now but found I can't really get into it over there and find myself giving it the flick. It all comes down to enjoyment of reading from those who post and some of the posts over there can be irritating to read. I still go over there now and then and post in a topic that interests me though, probably to the enjoyment of some mods it's not many.
