IMO he's no good and we should not be playing him, for a number of reasons. Mainly because he is no good (every minute he was off the park last night we started to play well), but also because he won't be at the club next year. Smith needed a rest, fair enough, but now that's over, so is James' season. Another reason is to start pumping some games into Geyer and his new role for 2008 now.

Quinn was much better on the wing outside Kingy.

1 - Slater
2 - Quinn
3 - King
4 - Folau
5 - Turner
6 - Inglis

Geyer from the bench playing that utility role. Perfect.

Aubusson is there as he adds a bit of mongrel - He can play well but he will be benched when Crocker starts playing.

Quinn is a winger and should stay there until his confidence comes back or indefinitely - he is with us for another 2 years so we need to develop him.

I've got to admit that any time Aubusson passes the ball from dummy half i hold my breath hoping like hell it doesn't travel forward.

Aubusson suffered from the piss-weak running and slow play the ball of his forwards in the first half, no one seemed to be complaining about him after his 2 MOM awards.

However I do agree that Boofa should be the bench player for the rest of the year that allows Quinn and Turner to be our wingers

As for Quinn, Ive said from the when we signed him he's a Origin class winger but he still plays the Knights style in defence but thats understandable as he's had no real positional consistency for a few months now. It must be said though he's still alot better defensively at centre them Issy at the moment

The Storm backline should be
1. Slater
2. Falou
3. Inglis
4. King
5. Turner
6. Geyer
7. Cronk

Have Quinn off the bench as utility, his defence sucks for an outside back.

It wasn't just last night i was talking about his dummy half passes it's been every game he's played that i've been concerned about them. In saying that overall i think he's been a very handy player for us this year and i'm glad we've had him. I could pick a flaw in almost every players game just as we all could but it certainly doesn't mean i'm complaining about them.

I do agree that his passing can be a bit extravagent at times, but its only a problem when were getting slow play-the-balls, which I guess makes it a problem.

Well I never rated him as MOM in either game.

Good player but the storm's best 17 ain't got room for Aubi.

May he still make the extended bench though :D

Aubusson started well in his first few games but as he has progressed through the season his basic skill errors are showing up - this may be through lack of experience but also may be that he is rated too highly...time will tell.

Interesting conundrum with him. I like his defence thoug, he can put a decent hit on a guy which is missing at times. I like him as a player and hoped we would hold him, he still has something to offer off the bench...Quinn needs much more work than I thought he would....I liked his effort v Sharks which showed a little more confidence, but his defence is really weak in a positional sense.

I know that Storm will use Geyer in a replacement hooker role next year but I still feel that we need one more little forward next year as a utility...

Aubusson will most likely suffer the same fate as Jake Webster last season...if you want to leave the club then when push comes to shove dont expect to be in the best 17 at the business end of the season
