brilliant is murray gets it.

or millward.

both imo would be better coaches than potter and certainly high calibre.

steve folkes would be the other choice who would go ok.

they better not keep the saints connection and get browny.

if murray gets it ill be over the moon

I hope Folkes goes there. He will allow natural flair, but really get all the players in shape. Be good for the game over there to get a good coach.

Looks to be a fair few decent coaches on the market at the mo, I hope they pick the right one and get some French guys helping them so in the future they can have some decent home grown coaches at the top level.

Wigan coach Brian Noble has thrown his hat into the ring for the vacancy at Catalans Dragons, according to the Perpignan club's chairman.

Bernard Guasch has revealed the former Great Britain boss, who is out of contract at the JJB Stadium at the end of the season, is among around 20 applicants hoping to succeed Mick Potter in the south of France for 2009.

"We now have about 20 applications which shows how the Dragons have grown in stature in two years," Guasch told the Rugby Leaguer and League Express newspaper.

How easy is this, coach Hull, Wigan, Hudds, Cas, Wakey or live in the South of France and coach Les Catalans?

Freeze you gonads off every week oop norf or get a nice tan whilst visiting one of the many nude beaches in France?

(No disrespect for our norvern brothers)
