Australia vs France

ARGHHH!!! 6 in a row now!!!

Why is it that we can make a zillion line breaks, stay camped down in the opposition 20m and still not score ?! The Frogs did their homework and adopted a Springbok like up and in defensive pattern and it worked a treat for them as we were continually thwarted in our attempts to get any sort of momentum going.

This is it Eddie has got to go, not once did I think we could win this game, the French(missing several of their key players eg. Magne, Betsen) just owned us bad in every aspect.

The forwards are playing such a slow and out dated game and can't compete with the stuff NZ, SA and now France are dishing out. honourable mention goes to:

-Fatt Dunning has got to go a very average scrummager and he offers nothing in general play because he is too f*cking slow

-Brendan Cannon he did his absolute best to help us lose our own lineouts and did some great work dropping the ball 5m out from the Frogs try line

-Rocky Elsom this guy is failing miserably to be our Schalk Burger, Jerry Collins our "enforcer" gave away waayyy too many penalties

-Morgan Turinui you ain't a freaking props so stop attacking like one all he did was crash it up all day and then not release the ball

On the plus side a few of our younger plays looked good, like Johasson, Mitchell, and Mcmeinman and Greg Holmes impressed in his almighty one scrum with Dunning gone all of a sudden the scrum looked half decent! plus Tuqiri, Rogers, and Latham were their usual classy selves.

For the frogs I thought the youngster Yannick Nyugana was great a real star in the making, Michilak looked sharp in the 1st 40 and Elisaddle only reinforced the view in my mind he is the best scrummy in the world.(or at least the most well rounded scrummy)

Turinui is a crash ball specialist with an average pass. Number 12's in the Henson and De Villiers mould have the ability to run, pass and kick, which we are lacking without Giteau playing inside.

Australia just needs the right players playing, i'm sure this slump will be over as soon as the tight 5 and halves are sorted out.

I said it before we have NO chance of winning test matches with Gregan (way way past his used by date) aand Dunning! If Dunning is in the top 2 props we have severe problems!

Turunui is NOT a crash ball. Never has been. For some reason that's how Jones uses him.

Turini did jack all in the match. Giteau had yet another shocker. Rogers should be 10, Giteau 12, Johansson 13 and Tuqiri back on the wing. Cannon is a crap hooker, front rows weren't killed as usual but were crap none the less. Smith at 8 didn't really work.

How did he play at Waverley?
IMO Johanson who plays #10 for Gold Coast who runs the ball with venom and has a sound kicking and passing game. Is a little too flashy for the old timers, but hes a gun IMO.

In my picks I stated that Aus would struggle. I havent seen the game waiting for the news to see the highlights. But read the review of the Aus A game in mid week and it sounded like Aus may have turned things around. They just have to get rid of the dead wood. Whats the worst losing streak the Aus team have had ??

How about the cheap shot by that French guy. What a shocker. Watch the rugby judiciary sweep it under the carpet.

FRENCH centre Yannick Jauzion labelled the Australian attack as predictable after the Wallabies fell to their third straight defeat in the country of the next World Cup.

Since coach Eddie Jones took over the reins in 2001, the Wallabies have lost twice in Marseilles and once in Paris, with the latest win giving the French a hat-trick of home victories over Australia for the first time since 1976.

French manager Jo Maso yesterday recounted Jauzion's post-Test assessment that the Wallabies tested Les Bleus with brawn rather than brain.

"The way Australia attacked in midfield was very straightforward," Jauzion told Maso.

"There was no sidestepping, they come straight at you. It is very clear. You know what to expect. But when you reach the end of the match, you are very exhausted."

Meantime, French skipper Fabien Pelous is expected to be cited today over an elbow to the face of Australian hooker Brendan Cannon behind the play. Cannon abused a touch judge for not reporting the incident as he left the field for stitches to a cut below his left eye.

Pelous could be facing a two-month ban.

Pelous gets what he deserves.

Jones I hope you are reading this as Jauzion is right on the money. Our attack has got nothing.
