If Mitch makes runs you can safely put the Khawaja playing in the 1st test thing to bed.

So they prepare an Aussie deck for us ?

I doubt we can take anything from this game. It seems the issue of Oozie not playing the first test has risen from the fact that he is not playing in the tour match, according to Foxsports which just seems to be an assumption.

When the team was first announced I just assumed that Oozie was a lock so they were looking at the other options. Dropping players while they are in form really doesn't make much sense but neither does a lot of their decisions.

He's another batsman who is in form, he is not going to develop if we give him the Maddinson treatment

Got a bad feeling both Darshes will play and they will leave out Haze and Oozie. Nothing they will do would suprise me anymore.

Not getting the Khawaja love. He averages 30 out of Australia SMarsh averages 46. Id play them both but if you only play one I'd go SMarsh

Well there is a reason enough to see how stats dont tell the full story

Oozie is in good form and Marsh is not, simples

Stats wont tell you that

Should be between those two anyway. Both should be in, and Maxwell out.

He is the least deserving by far.

UK had a good home summer, Marsh was in the side, and scoring runs overseas before being injured.

Of course they will, that's exactly what they'll tell you.

I think the team is going to be

Warner
Renshaw
Smith
Darsh snr
Handscomb
Darsh jnr
Wade
Sok
Starc
Haze
Lyon

Its not the team i would pick but im next to sure that will be the side

Yup I think that will be the side

SMarsh has to be in the side for mine, not sure on Mitch Marsh though

If Warner/Smith can roll the arm over for a few overs, I say we play 6 bats (include Khawaja) and the 4 bowlers

We can't protect guys like Renshaw and Oozie from the tour....they have to be given games to prove themselves. It's a tough tour and they may well fail but they won't improve by running the drinks.

Renshaw is unknown but he had a decent summer. His patience and ability to bat for a long time is crucial.

Oozie is in form and once again he is quite patient and can bat for long periods of time.
