All three games had amazing atmospheres but yeh that second test if felt like we could finally win a series and the buzz leading up to the game was enormous. Being on the train to Manchester from Hull and it was packed with Hull and rovers fans all singing Rule Brittania, Land of Hope and Glory and Jerusalem together for 2 hours lol Id of hated to be a non RL fan who found himself on that train that morningHaving watched the replay of the 2nd test so many times, how was the atmosphere at Old Trafford?
The crowd seemed so loud and its rated as one the greatest tests off all time.
The fans got massively behind the team as we sniffed a historic win in the offing and the lead changed hands through the game before being tied up at 10-10, I still remember Eastwood missing that bloody kick! but sadly was not meant to be. Old Trafford back then was a much more atmospheric ground as well. Happy days and probably the pinnacle of modern day International RL imo.
