Hahaha, no I don't think that's him Space. He's a star, and he's super. You're thinking our legendary forum 7's champion of yesteryear. That dude kept a dedicated website for Justin Murphy, that's commitment.

lol he's a bit tragic at times.. but good to hear that he's genuine.

Dude its like keeping a shrine website to a bloke who flicked off a bottle top on Once were Warriors on screen for .4 of a second with only the back of his head seen... You have to be commited to the max fo shore. Props for that.

Also when we were walking around we literally nearly walked into Pricey and Richard Becht who must of been going to the after match post conference. I politely asked him for a photo and he said sweet no worries. he asked us did we enjoy the game and said of course, he then asked would we be coming if we had a home semi. I said nah we flew up from CHCH just to see this game and that would be it for the year. He looked at Richard and shook his head (like in disbelief) and said thats massive what you guys have done and we really appreciate it. I said no worries mate loyal fans would do that and we always come up for 1 game a year. He continued to thank us for our support and wished us a safe trip home.

Yeah, got a similar story from Ivan Cleary from a 2003 game against Cronulla... we talked to him for a good 20 minutes (he was supposed to be captain that day, but Stacey Jones made a nudge nudge surprise surprise comeback), was asking where we were from in Sydney, and how it was great for the club when people came from a far to see them. Good stuff. Nice bloke.

Oz mate, honestly though bro, I gots to ask... who and why post that bottom shot? :-B

lol, i didnt want them to know i was snapping them, the only one who knew was sammy rapira

robster is cool imo, he gets stuff signed for himself, then gets in the poo moneywise and has to flick it.

his hearts in the right place though..

eddie, when that thread went up earlier this year, my pm inbox went berserk.
i felt sorry for the guy but see he is still at it, despite the b/s promises...

I bumped into when I flew up for the knights game, shook his hand and chatted for a couple of ticks and he does seem genuinely grateful for the support the warriors were getting.

Cool stories guys. Am hoping to meet some of the Manly guys next week but would be a bit shy to tell them where i am from haha, would seem like i am after a compliment.
Hoping to meet and get a photo with the great man, Beaver, and would love to bump into Cliffy

I would say that one of the Warriors tried to break Beaver's beak. But it probably just got in someone's way as they were running by.

Beware the Dragon with no pressure, BH. Your boys may be in for yet another loss. I hope the club is over their injury worries now.

I think the fact that Manly haven't played at Brookvale for the past 6 weeks might just get them up, although we have a woeful record against them, lost last 6 or something.

Should have too much class though i think, the pack should roll them and the backline should finish the job.

Yeah huge weekend, will be awesome, so many big games. Is unbeleivable that Souths could finish 4th and get a home final.

Can't wait to get to Brookvale in week 1, week 2 if the Warriors are playing in aussie i might try and get along to support them, hopefully watch Manly win week 3 then into the GF and i already have my ticket

This one disgusts me, i brought the same jersey last year, minus sigs of course, for $80. I don't think they will egt any bites though

Suddenly I have visions of the movie Jerry Mcguire.
Where suddenly in NZ sportsman stop signing free autographs as there is a lucrative trade from these pricks. And they will only sign things that their sponsors endorse.

sh*t I hope it never happens.
