Know it most likely wouldn’t have won but geez that was a super messy ride by Lloyd
Yeah flopping out the gates killed it’s chances as it was always going to need to be closer and get luck at the right time to burst through.
Having said it seems like Lloyd has one or two of these scrappy rides each week now, I don’t know if it’s just a mixture of being young & reckless or maybe even arrogant but he seems put his mounts in some terrible positions when things don’t go to plan.

I reckon Benny Thompson is a good chance to win the Hong Kong Derby today aboard Bundle Award.
You know it’s gonna get the 2000 being a Shamus…other one at decent enough price is Johannes Brahms, hate where they’ve mapped it so hopefully something jumps badly & it can find a back in transit. Big finish last time.

Johannes Brahms is a massive chance too but yeah it’s had no luck in running or barriers recently - if you’d looked at it’s last run he comes home just as well or maybe better than Rubylot considering the hinderance.
If My Wish drawn a barrier I’d probably be packing him.

f**king hell the old wrinkled Willo has gotten Cap Ferat to break its maiden in the Honkers Derby ffs!
My Wish for Mark Newnham was enormous from the back to only miss by a nose.
