I got the word on Tuesday that my Dirty Work filly pulled up lame after being in work for one week ffs.

Nothing showed on x-ray so they’re going for other scans as there is definitely something wrong in one of her front fetlocks.

The f**ken joys of it all. That was the first email I opened up on Tuesday and it pissed me off for the whole day. Punting has been surprisingly good this weekend which has taken the sting out of it though.

That sucks mate…. Hopefully with time she will be okay.

We got an email 2 weeks ago the night before BYT was going to the qualifier, that he was showing a slight lameless in one leg. Next morning they scratched him, but I was thinking it was something minor he will be good in a week or two.

Then we got another email two days later saying they were sending him to Randwick Equine for a scan. Scan showed up a hairline fracture in his cannon bone. Lucky in someways they found it early but it’s also 6 months in the paddock then a slow build up for his next prep.

Was on Flying For Fun & simply don’t understand the tactics…couldn’t believe he didn’t sit closer, winner wouldn’t have caught it
This is after backing Patronage (huuuge run), & Miss Aria (screw you Matt Hill for the false hope, knew she’d gotten done)
Least I was roughly even for the day thanks to Soft Love who looks like a damn jet….
