It's ok, nothing special but good to acknowledge the Steelers part of our DNA occasionally. I'd like to see us use that black jersey with the red V from 2013 again or something similar for some away games, say against the Dolphins. I really liked that jersey.

Unrelated- does anybody know why I can't open photos attached to people's posts. I just get taken to a page that says-

Oops! We ran into some problems.

You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action.

Does anybody else have this problem?
Probably because you've got an ad blocker in place. Turn it off on all devices that you use to access these forums, then it should be OK within a day after that.

Yes I am one of htem. I believe Illawarra should be a feeder club and a junior development club.
I admire your passion for St George Dragons possm, and I cannot imagine a future NRL competition which would not include the most famous of all clubs. Unfortunately, I also believe that my view is probably not shared by the NRL administration, nor the broadcasters of the game.

Being part of a combined entity with the Illawarra (at NRL level) gives us representation across a large geographical area with a strong rugby league following. This exposure and local following as well as our remarkable history makes us a desirable club which the league would not want to lose.

Therefore, long after the Nick Politis and Gus Goulds disappear from the rugby league landscape and the Roosters, Bulldogs and Rabbitohs are forced to amalgamate or relocate as they lose relevance and/or local support and the Sharks have gone broke for the twentieth time, The St George Illawarra Dragons will still be going strong.

i think you will find the sharks have gone broke 25 times and counting, but you have to admit they beat everyone else to the front of the line when super league got started.
