Axemen will post a release after this weekend

Guys, we will post a release this weekend as to the reasons we have chosen not to continue this season.
We are closing ranks until the GF Teams are finalized then we will release our reasons for this move. This is the toughest thing I have had to do and it really sucks.
We wish the teams that remain in the AMNRL comp all the best of luck

Given the very professional manner that the Axemen do everything, I imagine whatever the reason is, that you have only taken this measure for good reason. Very sorry to hear that it was required though. Axemen into a GF would have been great reward for you and a nice way to go out.

This outcome is extremely disappointing. I can't help but wonder if the Axemen had made it kniown that they were struggling to finance their travel, that something may have been done to avert the current situation.
Perhaps, a benevolent benefactor may have come to the rescue. Whilst I wouldn't have been able to pay for ALL:crazy: the travel costs, I WOULD have contributed to a travel fund for the Axemen. I would have thought there would be at least a few others who would also consider :-k this option. My question, Spinner, is, why didn't you ask here for financial support :?::?::?::?:

Wow... just wow. The Axemen are the top fo the AMNRL when it comes to professional running of a club.
