Yes, the sin bin should be used more often so that the opposition team that was on the receiving end of whatever the foul play was get an immediate advantage, rather than just the team the following week who don't have to face the suspended player.

You are the 1,000th person to think that in here but this simple change always falls on deaf ears.

Refs (incl video red) too scared to punish foul play or professional fouls as they happen.

Not all their fault, mind you, with the scrutiny they come under.

James Hird had his wife come out & speak to the media & defend him (while he ran inside & hid), what a weak merkin.

Herd's wife is a solicitor. She could say whatever she liked about the AFL hierarchy but he couldn't.

he was having a battle with Dimetriou at the time and Demitriou was out to get him.

He didn't "run and hide' at all. It was a smart move.
