Does anybody have any updates on the players accused of rape after the game on the Sunshine coast. It was on the news tonight. I hope it isn't true as this would be terrible news for all concerned.

at present it's an allegation. The club is doing a private investigation into the matter, and obviously the police are investigating it as well. The woman claimed to have been held down and hit before being raped. No charges have been laid yet. Now i'd just like to remind everyone when discussing a matter like this to be sensible with what they post. It's a very delicate matter, and a lot of false allegations and claims get thrown around very quickly.

I read today, again, I have no link, so I can't confirm or deny, that police have spoken to some of the players and at present are not looking to press charges.

But as I said, it's only heresay, when I find some time, I'll look for an article to shed some more light.
