It's no trial match, I got this from the panthers web site.

EXTRA COMPETITION MATCH FOR COUGARS THIS SATURDAY
Mar 02 - The St Marys-Penrith Cougars will start their competition a week earlier than expected to make up for an anomaly in the Premier League draw.

They will play a match against the Tigers at Leichhardt Oval next Saturday, March 6. Kick-off is at 3.00pm.

A statement from the NSW Rugby League pointed out that in the draw, both teams have three byes.

“However, they will be awarded only four points for the byes, so the two clubs have agreed to play this match to give them 24 matches each – the same as the rest of the teams in the competition,” the statement said.

The published draw remains unchanged.

I have been trying to find out what the cougars side is but havn't had any luck so I guess on the day we will find out

Also because Wests arn't playing a trial game on the weekend there could be some late inclusions into the Balmain side before the NRL season kicks off so it would pay to come on down to the Den and support the Mighty Tigers!
