Ok you magpie dole bludgers, only 4 days away from getting a flogging from the balmain tigers on your own turf. Any last words? prayers?

Revenge shall be sweet.

I predict a Wests victory, despite the sensational start by the Tigers, Wests are a tough team to beat although it will be close. It should be a terrific game though.

The tigers have it all over wests in the forwards and that should see us walk away with the points

I think wests have a slightly better backline but backs need room to move and our boys haven't been giving anyone much of a chance.

I think wests will get home in flegg although it looks like being close and I'm not willing to completely write off balmain - we have players capable of producing what is needed to win games but they are all of them inconsistant - it could end up a matter of if they fire up on the day

The Balmain forwards will win it for the Tigers. These guys are being overlooked and have everything to prove. What a pack of forwards - Small, Lima, Rhino, Bronson and Isaaka with Simpkins, Azzi, Dickson and the Showman Awahau off the bench. That must be the biggest group of forwards we have fielded since the late 1980s. If Robbie was not missing with first grade it would be truly awesome. And with the try-scoring-goal-kicking Ben Carney on the wing what more could we want. This game will be better than first grade!

I think balmain should win if they don't self destruct.

Not only are our forwards dominant but our backline has been fantastic (probably due to the extra time given to them by the forwards pack). Bronson is in brilliant form, and greally seems a much better player then last season with great use of his pace as well as a quality passing game. That combined with the solid play of Dickson, Carney and Harris, and our forwards tearing up the turf leads me to believe wests simply have no chance. 36-22.

Go balmain!

Remember when they scored more tries than Wests yet still managed to lose on goal kicking :( I woudn't go making any wild predictions yet Brook.... This will be the one game Wests will fire up for.

Is it at Campbelltown? ha ha :p I'll think of you having to go all the way down there when sitting in the comfort of the G tonight :)

(Theres more than 30 of us going btw tonight, including people from work (I bought two tickets more than I needed so offloaded em at work ;-) To two Collingwood  fans though I must admit :( )... I don't think I'll live this one down for a while given Tamara and I are starting at 1pm ;-) ... I've only just managed to get rid of the shit I was coping for the Xmas party photos! (I have a jug in my hand in every shot I am in :) ) lol )

Although it's good to know I could nearly double Balmains crowds with just the people going with us tonight :p :p :p hehehehe (Just teasing :))

Whats the go with Leichardt Wanderers raising Parra supporters?
That was the Juniors not the Wanderers. I am sure he followed Balmain and then gave them away when the merger happened. The ultimate insult is that he chose Parra to support instead of the JV..... alive and kicking

Benny as your CEO is something even I'd like to see (he'd ensure Munk's slow death strategy was accelerated by several years)

Flegg is the one I'm more worried about. They just haven't clicked at all.

You've got it all over us in the forwards? :D :)  #-o  :?

You're always good for a laugh I'll give you that Brook. Just tell your boys to run hard and straight (at Plummy). Whilst they're getting their injuries attended to we'll be dazzling your sad and mangy butts all with the class we possess all over the park.

Time will tell ;-)

I think noahs score of 36-22 sounds close right (thats taking into account Balmains baffling habit of allowing the opposition two late 'consolation trys' when they no longer have any chance of winning the game - I really wish they'd stop that its annoying and not good for our for and against)

I'd ammend it to 32-24 though 'cause I don't think covell will miss any goals and I'm certain carney will miss a couple.

so five tries a piece and the "Superboot" giving the Maggies an eight point cushion at the end? Yeah with Wests inability to play the full 80 out you might get that many.

We'll see who's sorry for who at 2:30 Sunday.

BTW Come back to the City Hotel in Queen St Campbelltown after the game if you can. Always a great atmosphere after a win.
