Wow Balmain had a powerful pack of forwards, Houmono, lowie, tyron smith,Shane walker etc but they had a very average backline. 18 nil with 13 to go and only scraped home with a 18-12 win, 11 years on and we still do same thing by not being able to close a game down. .

The win also saw Balmain move up to equal 5th on the ladder that year

Mind you, it was with 7 other sides.
