North Sydney (1) vs. Balmain (8) - NSW Cup

Saturday 13th of September

North Sydney Oval

3pm kick-off. $10 entry, children free.

Great to see two foundation clubs play-off against each other in this match.

Who is coming to the match?

Won't be able to go as meeting the PM (really) but wishing Balmain all the best to make it five in a row. Hope Hanbury wasn't badly injured and Lewis Brown plays but mostly just hope they tackle like they have been and we should be in with a show. Go the tiges!

Tigers fans watch the NSW Cup game on fox tonight between balmain and newtown at about 5pm, have a look at Newtowns fullback Axle Foley, apparently someone at the Tigers is looking at him to maybe slot into Hodgsons spot next year, hes a bit bigger and has plenty of ticker, hasnt played much this year due to crashing his motor bike early in the season

Yeah, isn't his name Shaun or something. Is pretty good too, isn't he? I saw him last year when I think Newtown beat Balmain at henson, and he looked good.

Yeah I think he debuted for the Roosters in 2006 for Sticky, from memory played 8 games and got 6 tries, I was talking to one of the senior rooster players, who wont be there next year, he said he should have played first grade this year couldnt understand why he hadnt

It's interesting. They say that when a leader goes things get all shaken up for a while...looks like the 'who will replace Hodgo' isn't anywhere near sorted...Gallant, Ryan, MCDonnell, Lazarus...now Foley perhaps.

Now we just need Lipini Paea

Tandy had a great game, I cant remember how he went in first grade but he deserves another go i reckon. He didnt stop, he had the balls that we lack up front.
