Have to see in practice though. Not much swing in this match to see how he handles it.

First day/night test in India commences. Nice to see a big crowd for a test match there for the first session (which will increase in the evening), something that has diminished since the early 2000s.

Had this not been a day/nighter, the standard starting time for test matches in Kolkata is 9am (due to the earlier sunset in the eastern part of India). That is way too early, and no wonder why crowds have been low as the majority of people are either at school or work during 9am-4pm.
