Team India getting in some good practice for the Australian tour.

Get some bounce back on the Perth deck please. Unleash the fast Lance.

What odds this multi over the last week

Eng losing 2nd test to Pakistan
NZ beating India in this test
SA Women beating Aust in t20W semi final WC

200/1 Wouldnt have looked out of place

As is so often the case for us, another "first since Hadlee" moment...

Great composed win, Henry, O'Rourke and Ravindra were outstanding, Conway decent for the first time in a long while, and Young is kind of the Henry of the batting, I wonder what he might look like if he'd had all the chances Nicholls did...

Where does this sit in terms of best ever NZ Test wins?

In my lifetime, I think I'd have it top 3-

1- NZ v India, Southampton, 2021
2- NZ v India, Bengalaru, 2024
3- NZ v Australia, Brisbane, 1985 (which, admittedly, I didn't see at the time, but it's NZ cricket legend)

What else is in the conversation?

Your # 3 remains my #1, I think, or equal with your #1. The third test in Perth in 85-86 where we won the series was also an historic moment imo, there are a few others perhaps the Tasmania win, but beating India in India, and beating Straya in Straya are the ultimate

I guess we understand this is a great Indian side so this win is very special (but if we get rolled in the next two then perhaps there's a a context), and the 85-86 Australian side wasn't a great one, nonetheless, wins against Australia in Australia are rare for anyone, and Hadlee's performance across that series was the best bowling I've ever seen, from anyone

Yeah, a little bit before my time, so I am not sure I really feel the context as viscerally

Good point about the series win though. If we don’t at least draw this series from here, it’ll take some sheen off

Still be tough for you guys.

I can't imagine anything else other then raging turners for the next two tests to get results.

yeah, as is the standard. Maybe a bit of luck, a bit of rain, a bit of grit, a lot of pressure on them….you never know
