Barba sacked by Cowboys

I don’t see how Greenberg survives this, all the investigation from 2013 is going to get rehashed and there are those in the game who will take the opportunity to leak some new damaging detail. One way or another I just can’t see him being there next year.

If it's on CCTV good chance they won't need to wait for the court case to finish.
They can’t sanction him if he’s not a registered player. The cowboys sacked him, all the NRL will say is they will deal with any contract registration on its merits when they receive it.

Dude, a woman was assaulted - f**kwit.

Do you believe that is a joke?

Just maybe you should get off the keyboard and go out into the real world.
Ummm, this is LU you f**king snowflake. He was just having a joke...nobody thinks the actual act is funny or acceptable.
Go back to crying about saving the whales or something.

I agree whole heartedly. If what is alleged is true, proves Barba is a dickhead of the 1st order. I suspect Todd will wait until the court judges the case, because he talked about the life ban if players were found guilty of domestic assault.

Is there a court case? If his mrs hasn’t reported it to the police or chooses not to press charges will they persue it?

Why does everyone blame the NRL and never have a go at the club's for signing these f**kwits. If the Cowboys prioritised the reputation of the themselves and the game they never would have even tried to sign him. Instead it has gone pear shaped and it is all the NRLs fault.

Because NRL are the governing body.

They need to refuse to register contracts for repeat offenders..

Otherwise clubs will continue to sign f**kwits in the hope said f**kwit has a higher chance of winning them a premiership than they do of reoffending..

Greenberg hasn’t done enough to curb these knuckleheads during his time at the top. He needs to gove himself a lifetime ban from the NRL too.
The cover ups from the Bulldogs days are coming back to bite him

Related to 2013 preseason and what happened then I could imagine a scenario where a desperate Barba comes clean on what took place which would debunk the story Greenberg spun at the time(mental health issues, no alleged assault etc.).
Could get interesting.

Barba should never play in the NRL ever again. Hope we see the last of him. His ex team mates at the bulldogs where glad to see the back of him. I would be glad we never ever heard of this bloke again. Bye bye

If they do that, they will be excoriated for it by the media and the public. The NRL know there is a problem with domestic assault issues, and Todd's talk of "life time bans for anyone convicted of sexual assult" means they could look at a lifetime de-registration. I mean look at Shane Flanagan, he's resigned as Sharks coach yet is still looking at de-registration.
