Corey hughes was one of the worst players in the NRL for several seasons before ricky purchased him. That alone to me says there is something wrong with the way the guy thinks.

When he was signed i was hoping he wouldn't turn out like 90% of players that return from ESL but he has.

And that the dogs would not be going so well if they HAD Baz?

I think Kimmorley is fortunate to be in a team that has bought very well and is playing well...it showed tonight when he went off...its not him that is making that side what it is...Id say Ennis has more to do with it than BK. And I reckon barrett playing for the dogs would be enjoying the same kind of success....

Its the rest of the sharks backline that is killing Baz. Surely you have seen the number of great balls he has laid on for wingers/centres that lack speed and finishing ability or curse it all...handling ability!!

I can't say for sure Nulla because this is a vastly different team but barretts kicking game is a major dissapointment, so is his line breaking ability. Sure he can throw a nice pass but he's a 5/8 he's supposed to be able to.

I can understand that aspect..but Im just saying that redback seems to compare Baz and Kimmorley....

well i dont think there is much difference. If anything baz has broken the line himself more than BK could..in fact close to the line he always goes close or does score. I think his long passing game is much less dangerous than BKs poorly judged attempts at times etc.

Im not bashing BK...but I dont think Baz is doing any worse with what he has around him. Kicking has been a disappointment and something Bk is doing well this year.

Barrett is playing well considering the rabble thats around him - Hughes at hooker. Green at half, all the outside backs. Any fool with a bit of footy knowledge should be able to see that but I guess that counts you out Redback.

I am disappointed in a few things Stuart has done. To name some:
- Degois going
- No speed, flair in backs
- No backs signed in two years
- Resigning of crap players i.e Simmons
- Continued school boy mistakes made by players
- Skill level of players seems way down compared to other teams
- Continued selection of Hughes and Pomeroy.

I hope to throw some of these questions at Stuart whenever the members forum is. However in the mean time, I am still a supporter and think he is a good coach and the signing of Barrett is certainly not a mistake. He is playing his guts out and does some super classy things on the field. Its the rabble that is around him letting him down.

Good start. If you keep going that way, you will lose the fluffiness. Just like I did a few years back.

I disagree with you on Barrett though. He has nothing and most importantly NO PASSION! Thats what the forum is about though. Right?
