i heard that barret will be retireing after a premiership with the eels in 2011
Feel bad for Trent that even though he's being really open and clear to all parties involved that they appear to be making it as though he's mucking everyone around waiting for a decision. Media are assholes
did he learn that from tim smith? that was one of his specials along with kicking it dead and throwing a long pass straight over the sidelinewould still rather Kimmorley.....
Barret's main move is drfit across field and trun a forward on the inside....over and over and over.....wow....
hurry up last wendnesday!we have to wait till last wednesday
I'm not sad at all, that news made me quite happy Jess!he will be retiring - sad news for Parra fans, but he won't be lost to the game
Meanwhile, Cronulla captain Trent Barrett's final decision on retirement will be put on hold until his shoulder injury is assessed later this week.
He has attracted interest from Canberra and Parramatta as well as the Sharks.

Eels chief executive Paul Osborne last night denied a deal had been done but added he intended to catch up with Barrett's manager, Wayne Beavis, later this week.

no, the really worrying thing is i think he actually taught that to Tim Smith
if anything Smith has really regressed under Barrett's influence......there might be something in that for parramatta to think about...???
I'm sorry but Tim Smith was rubbish when he last played for us, rubbish in ESL and rubbish for Cronulla. Has zip to do with Barrett.
has he retired yet?
welcome to the Eels Mr Barrett
Last week you said he wasn't coming. :?
