Where does all the Beale love come from? So average at the Broncs they let him go, So average at the dragons they released him early, What's he ever done at the Sharks?

I think this is good.

Beale has not had enough minutes, loots can have a spell to freshen up, then I want see Bird have the same thing, if we are going to persist with a centre on the bench, I am for swapping them to freshen up and then to get match fit.

Leutele's strength appears to be taking some runs from our 'red zone' (1st qtr of the field), but doesn't seem to be able to spark much when we're close to the opposition line. He occasionally burrows over...

Whereas Beale seems to be really good at getting his wingers into space - with Holmes' finishing ability, this has been great for us. He seems faster than Leutele, as exemplified by his long-range runs late last year. He is also equally comfortable playing left-side, which should help Feki, who is also a good finisher, and is a hard runner...

I reckon Bird has been the weakest of the 3 centres this year. Too much sideways prancing nonsense. He's strong and can bust a tackle, run straight and hard lad!

So....my preference would be Bird on the bench....but Flanno has to feed his ego.

You know what Plastered, I was going to make a comment about Bird during the last game about how he plays centre like SKD, runs about 2 kms a game. 1.8 kms of it across field

Absolutely he should be on the bench. Been on that wagon since the trials.

I'd point Bird in the direction of Cartwright s performance during City v Country and tell him that's how he should play and he should do it from lock.

Bench until he learns it.

Great idea, IMO... Of course, I'm not an NRL coach (although I coached junior footy for 6 years with Bathurst Panthers before coming over to Vanuatu).

I think THEY see him as too valuable to bench - I mean, he's being touted as a possibility for Origin!

HE certainly thinks he's ready...!

Bird has done alot more then Leteule this year.

Have to agree, as much as I think Jack Bird needs an attitude adjustment...

He is obviously 'a work in progress', I just wish he would see it that way and shut his mouth, instead of going on about how good he is...

Ironic as Leutele lacks confidence.
