Beau Scott vs inglis

I thought Beau Scott really showed up Inglis last night in defence. Every run of Scott's put a big dent in the defensive line and really had the Melbourne line retreating.
Considering that they are roughly the same weight it probably may be something that other teams should consider because last night GI could dish it out in attack but he couldn't take it without 2 or 3 other tacklers to back him up. I think they should have tried to isolate him from his buddies with some decoy runners and get someone hitting him 1 on 1.
A great way to wear him out and take him out of the game.

he was good in attack... we had 5 second rowers (stanley, creagh, scott, young, prior) and 3 props (hunt, poore, weyman) starting last night. Provided us with some real grunt... one of scotts worst defensive games i thought, was caught out of position a bit from what i saw on tv

Bennett couldn't have asked for any more than what Scott gave last night. Let's face it: It was (arguably) the World's premier centre, up against a hard-working journeyman - who would humbly admit he's not the most 'gifted' of footballers.
Every day of the week, GI has every right to expect to run rings around him.
Amazing what a Red V and a big ticker can do...

beaugenius was my man of the match last night.

he has been outstanding for over a year.
the guy should be a bolter for rep honors.

kudos to the doctor who switched his feet from the end of his arms back to the end of his legs.

To be absolutely fair Scott definitely outplayed Inglis
Inglis was carrying a groin injury and noticeably limping on occasion
Scott didn’t help his injury (onya Beau!)
