Being despised outsiders next week against the Panthers is perfect for us. Does anyone think we can get it done?

Well, can we?

Start Royce and let him be a sacrificial lamb…. Late, high and forceful…..
It's a shoulder. Doesn't even have to go high. Late and forceful is enough and probably would get a sin bin at most if the refereeing stays the same. On the flip side, you'd have to consider the PSF (protected species factor)

Honestly it really couldn’t be that hard to make him uncomfortable if they wanted to go after him. Nikora shoot out and make good first contact and then a couple of the big boys in late over the top and put as much pressure on that shoulder as they can on the ground.

at the end of the day, we’re going to need to do more than go after Cleary.

Yeah.

Have to go after Dylan's knee, Yeo's head, Martin's temper, To'o's height and everyone else's nuts.

Maiming is good.

Someone on one of the coverages was talking about the danger of trying to get to an injured player and how it can be a distraction.

Just play our best and hope they are a little off.

If we play well we can beat them. May be that it will take them being off their game and some luck, but they are not as good as they have been previous years (though still very good) and apart from that terrible period mid year we have improved.

Need to let Tricky play like he did last week, and no one out running in the forwards.

Support and runners to put some doubt in defenders minds.

A bit of belief but go and play footy, not the one out shite.

Anything can happen.
Just watch the opening two tackles from last night.
In a perfect world we're next to no chance. But you just never know.

At any rate, we're a better chance of beating them than 13 other teams.

Only change to the 17 would be swapping McInnes and Sifa.
We need that extra grunt in the opening stages give him 15-20 min going full speed then bring McInnes in for the remainder of the game.
Sifa can get a good rest and cover injury’s or a late game smash and grab.

The way I see it we would only beat the pennies once or maybe twice out of every ten times we'd play them atm. Doesn't mean to say that it can't be this week but a lot of our players would have to play to their best and we'd have to take all our chances. Tricky has given me some hope based on last week tbh and Nicho will be better for another run too.

We can all talk big, but they have to be thinking, run Martin at BB or just any of our small guys. Also it’s the line speed in defence. The game will not be anything like the Cowboys or Manly. They will smash us till we tire then the gaps will open up. And we have to learn. We will need a lot more than AFB next year just to keep our third place.

Roosters made dce make 20 tackles in about as many minutes last night, was a good tactic but Penrith don’t let you do that you need to get through Liam Martin and whoever else

I'd nearly be tempted to say to them to throw it round a bit and see what happens, there's probably no point trying to match them in the grind.
The only way to beat Penrith is the kicking game. grubbers for Repeat sets or trys. Bomb the 10x10 as their wingers are short. Kick on the 4th. Bomb the sticks. go for 20/40's on 3rd when running out of own end. Kick on the 2nd if they are compressed. f**k their systems right up . We will not beat them going try for try
