Bell & Others

Enough is enough, Bell has to be in the starting side, he added so much around the middle tonight. More than Heighno, that is for sure.

Why didn't the defensive Fulton play tonight? Him playing out wide is just a waste.

Siro, whilst he might be a future star, I believe it's time to get Marshall back at 6. Humble added plenty of spark in his 1st stint tonight, I think he should be at 7.

Lawrence had his best game of the year.
Ayshford played very well.

Hopefully Farah and Ellis will be right for next week.

I don't get the hate for Heighno. I thought he was good.

Benji was crap and Sirro was just as bad if not worse. The rest of the team put in but our centres were really good.

Sironen is a waste at 6. Which makes Benji at 7 an even bigger waste. That's how I see it anyways.

Don't think there's any hate for Heighno, been a loyal servant to the club. He busted his ass tonight and played one of his better games for the season, but unfortunately and sadly, it's no longer enough. Couple bad defensive reads, but tried and worked hard. ESL is calling him. Time to top up the super fund.

I don't hate Heighno, that is for sure. It was only when someone mentioned how he runs to the line and basically stops that I really started to watch him. I have also been a fan and think he has been a very loyal Tiger.

He busted his guts tonight but it just wasn't good enough, he runs to the line and basically stops. OK a few runs tonight he kept going and I thought he was almost going to score at one stage BUT, IMO he does not offer us any more than Bell. Unless Sheens wants to turn him into a light weight prop:sarcasm:

mems77, I agree, if I was going to rate all the players out of 10, young Siro would get a 3 from me.

Sironen looked like he was pushed to centre at times in attack and Ayshford moved into a back row spot.

Blair actually played a good game. Not a half-a-mill a year quality players good game, but a good game compared to his form this year.

Except for when his piss poorly timed semi shoulder charge effectively ended Lote's career.

I can't remember Siro touching the ball once to be honest. Send him back to 20s for a while.

FFs he doesn't get the ball because our game plan involves benji touching the ball every single play. It's absolutely ridiculous, benji is an instinctive 5/8. His best seasons have been outside a genuine halfback who can look after the shit he doesnt do well. Sheens is trying to turn him into our everything

Blair was quite good in defence but most of his hit ups are soft. I really do want to like him. Marshall was dreadful tonight, awful defence lead to a couple of doggies tries and some of his kicks were laughable. Siro was also poor in defence. I think the main thing we we lacking tonight was structure and organisation. There were plenty of opportunities to put some good plays together but none of the players seemed to know what was on. Having said that, I did see some promising signs for what is possible once Farah and Ellis are back and fully fit.

Those saying Heighington was good, please go and watch the game again. He is a defensive liability.

I'd love to know what the f**k this team does at training, five hit ups and a shit bomb that mostly goes backwards. What have we become?

Well done to Sheens. He has turned the best ball runner in the comp into a predictable, catch and pass merchant.

Yep its pretty sad to see a team once rated as the best attacking team in the comp turn into to a side that just bombs and hopes every last tackle regardless of field position.
I still think tonights effort against the so called front runners minus 2 key players showed we can match it with the best, BUT i think that coming 7th or 8th if we are lucky at years end is not going to be good enough to contest the title.

Blair was good. I still don't get the hate for Heighno - I thought he played well.

Benji and Sirro were the problems. If they were half decent I think we would have won that game.

Next year we'll have 4 five eighths (marshall, sironen, moltzen, anasta) and 1 halfback (miller)

Its f**king madness. Sell of Anasta and fet a semi decent 7.

Robson is off contract, he'd be exactly what we need, and would be a perfect foil for Benji.

Last night our structure and set plays were all forgotten. At times late in the tackle count, Galloway was first receiver by accident, and early in tackle counts, Blair, Fulton and Galloway would be at dummy half.

Benji's kicking game started off brilliantly, great variation, turned Barba around.

The first 20 mins in the second half showed why Reddy shouldn't be in first grade, everytime Barba drifted towards him, Reddy would rush in off his wing to tackle Barba, either miss or set up an easy overlap.

Agree, Sironen was babied, they played without him.

I think it can work if they play him as a 5/8. Doing 40% of the kicks, passing him the ball.

Will be better when Robbie is back too.

But if you are going to play the kid, play him, don't leave it so he is there to tackle, and leave him with overlaps to defend.

Paul did well not to kill Tim.

Iosefa was playing like a man possessed when he set up and score those tries, came out of the line and put a shoulder on too lol. Maybe he was taking his frustration out on how sh*t we were going..
One of the worst losses of the year

, yes he was. I thought when he first came on, oh no , but he played very well. I thought Humble played very well for that 1st 20 minutes and the way he played makes me think that he could be the foil for Marshall for the rest of the season, i.e. Humble at 7, Marshall at 6.

What we don't want is Farah being frustrated with his 6 & 7 and being a 1st receiver, pushing everyone out one and our wingers being 6m over the sideline.

In regards to Siro going back to the 20's. Sheens woke up to himself and sent Groat back, hopefully when he watches the replay he can see that he should do it again. Paul might kill Tim and that wouldn't be a bad thing:roll:

remember a couple of seasons back he was almost going to the Panthers? the people on here who you think hate Heighno, were not responsible for that, Sheens was.
