NSW were an absolute dumpster fire 2008-2010, and QLD had arguably the strongest team available during that run.

Hard to put it down to coaching. After all the argument on here is Mal had nothing to do with Queensland's success and it was just the fact that they had future hall of famers in the spine and average players who went up a gear once they put on the maroon jersey.

I would take the Storm squad over the Broncos even without Smith and Slater. They will free up some serious cash and they have some great young kids coming through
