MELBOURNE skipper Cameron Smith doesn't know if he'll be playing alongside newly re-signed fullback Billy Slater at the NRL club in 2015.
It's not that Smith is considering playing anywhere else, it's just that he doesn't think his body will be up to it. "I'd love to stay here, it's just that I don't know if I can get to 2015," said Smith, who at 27 was born on exactly the same day as Slater.
"I do a fair few more tackles than Billy does," he added with a laugh. "When you've for Fuifui Moimoi running at you and Nathan Hindmarsh it takes its toll. "But you ask anyone who plays at this club, you'd love to stay as long as you can...why would you want to be anywhere else?"
The skipper, himself is signed until 2014, said the contract extension for Slater, who has stated he wants to be a Storm player for life, was a coup for the club.
