The thing is, Hunt is money hungry and thinks he has 2-3 yrs left. He wants another club. We won't subsidize that. In fact, Flanno seems to think we will deserve compensation.

The bloke is a flop. Has to go down as one of the worse skippers ever. When talking about the Dragons he continually refers to the club as they and them. Never says Us. Don’t recall many other captains doing that. We’ve payed him a fortune and he’s delivered bigger all.
Yeah we’ve been trash, yeah we’ve been poorly run but the way he carries on is disgraceful. Brought in his old coach, brought in his ex teammates and he still whinges. Can’t wait for the Ben Hunt era to be over to be honest. But in saying that i’d be making him play out the last year of his contract unless we somehow find a decent replacement for him.

If he doesn’t turn up to training, he gets sacked and doesn’t get paid.

He has no other options to get paid his top dollar without showing up, bottom lip on the ground (as usual) and doing what he’s told.

Apart from his whingeing and whining, his end of year review meeting (with Flano and Deano) was a confidential meeting but was leaked by him (according to Flano), so isn't that a breach of contract??
