I had that problem using Brave browser. Changed to Chrome and it was fine.
There is an option to set LU up as an app from playstore. It runs using Chrome.e and there's no problems with it.
The only thing you have to do is enable LU's push notifications and away you go

Sorry, back on topic.

When Hunt was asked if it was hard to walk away from his $900,000-a-year contract, Hunt replied: “To be honest I didn’t think about it ... it wasn’t the main thing I thought about …
Yeh right Hunty. $$$ was the only reason you hung around the joint whilst captain and still wanting out.

Ive just watched Sloans run v the storm and how bloody epic that was. I think he ripped through 2, stood up Paps and I think there was centre loitering around.

All at speed and when he cuts through the last line, the kid is accelerating away from recognised sprinters. I need a bex and a lie down now!

Bunt:

If you look closely at the article, it’s finally dawned on Hunt that he is someone who is disliked and he is again using the media for yet another self serving sulk.

And because people see his name, the first impression is yet another hate on SGI and that’s exactly what it was.

If he was ever wavering ( which I doubt) flanno is zero chance of calling him now. lol

Bunt can’t dig his own grave here quickly enough.

No self reflection, no remorse or apology. Just more big noting. He’s beyond stupid.

His next side is buying a real headache.

His contact should have an ARLJO
( Apprehended Rugby League Journalist Order) prohibiting him from going within 200 metres of one.

FYI I’m not joking about DV. No chance.

@ 01:20. The front view of that try with Liddle knowing Sloane had to be in support but where?

Yes Liddle played a massive part in that try, but no other Dragon scores that try. That try is a good enough reason why we need to persevere with Sloan at fullback. At least for the 1st 5 rounds. Hopefully the preseason Flanno puts him through fixes Sloan's deficiencies. That, plus some Gutho mentoring and I think we will have a champion on our hands.

Gutho cannot mentor putting the body on the line in defense when he is in position.
It is in you or its not. Sloan has to want that.

On the Bunt matter, I remember when he had that string of games where he refused to take on the line.

And it became quite controversial and he made a public statement putting his hand up.

Last season I think.

Really enjoyed Sloans try, hopefully he can improve as he’s SGI all the way.

True. But leading by example also plays a big part in learning. If sloan see's first hand a 30 year old gutho busting his arse in training and putting his body on the line during games to benefit the team you'd hope it becomes contagious

So Hunt wants to go to a team that can win the premiership !, no team can win without a good game managing half back and he is not that, so unless the coach has some balls and plays Hunt at Hooker what ever team he goes to will have no hope to win a Premiership!, Probably my biggest issue with Flanagan is how he pandered to Hunt.

Good points.

I’m not sure Flanno pandered to Hunt because Hunt was doing his best to get sacked last year, but the club steadfastly refused to release him. They denied him what he wanted the most.

I would have taken the captaincy off him myself because it had become untenable, but Hunt is an emotional wreck.

It was interesting to see his image, stature and prescence being downgraded this season.

There were negotiations for an extension on foot and the club decided it would take control of that process and he’d have to wait. No doubt they had read the room and were ringing around and taking stock.

He’d had some factory games that didn’t reflect his astonishing salary and they were troubled.

Rest assured they didn’t release him on the hop.

I might also add, it’s been an ongoing distraction and for all concerned and I blame Hunt for that. My best bet is that he was shopping around on the sly.

If he was smart he would have secured a club before testing your mettle.

That’s my take on it anyway.

Body size isn't all that important in defending but the size of your heart is.
I used to watch in awe, Preston Campbell pull down a big unit in the last line of D.
Luke Brooks is another great little defender.

Now Lomax has come to the defence of Hunt , saying that the little whiner was the complete professional in his time with the club and also in his dealings with Flanagan ?

Well that has me somewhat stumped ! You do not spill your guts about wishing to leave the club which has pampered to your every desire and then have a go at the coaches son who just happens to be your teammate , more so when you are the team captain - do you ? 🤔

Furthermore , I am rather surprised that Lomax saw the need to say anything at all about the situation considering that both players have now left the club . I do hope that young Zachary sometime in the future has the decency to give Flanagan the kudos he deserves for improving his game 1000% by moving him to the wing and thus giving him a far greater chance to play for the Kangaroos .

But perhaps I am just a bit too old - fashioned , however in my day when a man helped you , you would at the very least thank him , not criticise him .

If you go to 03:30 of the clip above, you will see all of Sloane's defensive problems summed up in ten seconds.

1. He turns his back on the attack (that is under-5s stuff)
2. He doesn't watch the ball
3. He doesn't run to fill the nearest hole and help his buddy in the line
4. He doesn't get his body square to target and his feet set (so he essentially just gets run past)
5. He doesn't have a target on the ball carrier (he doesn't know what kind of tackle he should choose to do)
6. He doesn't try to wrap up the ball (this occurs on the line so it is a very bad flaw)

I don't think this is necessarily fear. It is just poor defensive habits.

Yes but watching is not what is inside
He had been watching Slater tapes to learn who also put his feet or body on the line
