I guess this is why Flanno and St George went with the signing of Lachlan Ilias, they wanted to cleanse themselves from the 1 million dollar a season Donkey Filth, I can never ever recall in my time following St George of a high profile player, that will go down as the worst investment ever in history of this great club.
Over the past 14 years, some of the decisions made by the Board of Directors have been disastrous, McGregor + Bunt, Griffin + Bunt - Cameron McInnes + Andrew McMullough + Josh McGuire, OMG King's of crap signings, I will leave out Steve Price as he was just a Rookie gone wrong, the Wayne Bennett curse.
As much as I would love to see a Wishart or Atkinson take over from Bunt, I feel Flanno doesn't want to throw huge dollars at another halfback failure. Lachlan Ilias has the opportunity to take his game to the next level, IMO there will be zero pressure, at Souffs he was supposed to be the next big star, bye bye Adam Reynolds.
In Flanno I trust.

Lets not forget one of the all time great signings being COREY NORMAN, now there was a player who gave his all for the Dragons

This will force him to concentrate on his best attribute - Running @ 6, thus complimenting Reynolds game management skills.

Hunt's ego refused to do same with KF despite SF expecting their skillsets to compliment.

If it works at Broncos - I'll be even more pissed that he never tried to combine with KF at Dragons.

PS. when Reynolds gets injured, If the Bronso's use Hunt at 7, they'll get a dose of reality

I’m glad Bunt has watched every Broncos game since he left, because he certainly wasn’t watching many of the games he was actually playing in towards the end there with SGI.

Madge goes well with his origin and international stars, but when he knuckles down to clubland, he goes for full Madgeball.

In attack It’s called one-out and a kick.

Yeah, I think whether he did so or not is less notable than @Jubilee ’s call of his “shameless” grovelling.

If he really feels like a victim, he should start refunding SGI some of his unearned salary.

My bet is that he’s going to start a players liberation army at Red Hill and start on Madge as soon as you lose a few games.

Madge had a bad stint at the Tigers and if he has a bad one at the Bronco's may struggle to get another coaching gig in the NRL. He may get a gig as NSW coach if he fails but I don't think any NRL club will go near him. That is a big risk relying on a guy like Hunt to get you to the finals. Reynolds is a tampon and will be in 1 game out the next 3. I would not be banking on him being injury free. If he gets 14 games in I will be surprised. It will be interesting how this pans out. Lucky they have Reece Walsh as he may be able to dig them out of trouble for some games.

Geez the journos are making Hunt's signing with the Broncos sound like a romance/fairy tale story. The prodigal son returns. It is a dream come true. Hunt returns to the Club he started with, yada, yada, yada. He is the jinx one and all.

Madge had prolonged bad stints at South’s and then the Tigers.

There was never questioning of his desire or effort, he recruited some good players, but I heard people were avoiding him as he was internalising the lack of success and became unpleasant.

To be fair to him, he was consistently white anted in his final years at the Tigers and his sacking was totally mishandled.

In fact, we’ve gone rapidly downhill since his departure, suggesting he was keeping a doomed ship afloat. A bit like Brad at the eels.

Bunt isn’t going to want to cross him too many times.
