Guys just throwing this out there, probably gona get shot down but IMO I think Roberts will be a specialist winger.
The blokes got good foot work is very strong and is f#kn fast (realy suprised me the last couple of weeks with those breaks he has made).

I think hes got what it takes to get over the line.

Why are people so desperate to find Ben a new position....

Perhaps he just isn't a very good footballer?

I have watched enough of him this year to suggest he has some sublime skills and could potentially be a superstar. But he just can't do it for a full match and then only every few weeks.

Pretty sad really - he just hasn't got that consistent level of performance he requires.

So to paraphrase what you're saying:

Ben Roberts has enough trouble trying to play his normal position, let alone trying a new one.

Throw him in the centres
At least he will pass the ball

He has good footwork and can break the line.

So I would put him in the centres.

I do not like him as a ball player or 6 as he chooses alot of wrong options.

He played 9 when smith was off over the past few weeks and was shocking. His passes did not hit the mark at all.

Yeh. I could not believe how poor he was passing out of dummy half.
It was atrocious.

I always thought he'd make a great front rower. If I was Arthur, that's where I'd play him and drop Mannah to Wenty.

To be fair to Roberts he hasn't trained at passing from the ground. His passing game is based on running football. So if he cant get a 5/8 position then maybe centre or lock. He's got something to him as a footballer.

Roberts is the single greatest threat we have in regards to breaking the opposition line.

No one else in the team even comes close.

He'd kill it in the centres but who do we drop for him? And is his defensive weakness too much of a risk to put him there, even if we can figure out who to punt for him?
