I love how by playing him on the wing for the first time in his life it will make him a specialist winger.

Yeah you're right.
Hayne and Sandow never threaten the line.

Suity

HaHa? When was the last time he made a linebreak? 2010 game against the Panthers?

Sandow - yes, but not as consistently as Roberts and not as many near-breaks. Not even close.

As well as making those near breaks he aLso almost made some half catches, scores a few almost tries and made quite a few near tackles.

To be fair to Roberts he hasn't trained at passing from the ground. His passing game is based on running football. So if he cant get a 5/8 position then maybe centre or lock. He's got something to him as a footballer.

Yeh, i think it's not so much about 'passing from the ground' skills (which are not super difficult)....more about being familiar with where your receivers are (particularly your second option), whether the markers have committed, and getting runners timing right (which isn't the hooker's fault). And it is very different to playing in the line.

(from a former hooker who took one too many shots to the head from blokes much bigger than him).

I agree with hollywood.
Roberts footwork and strength is superior to hayne who has much become a cut out ball specialist.I havent see Hayne do anything special outside the oppositions 10mtrs in over a year atleast. He needs to get his runiings game back on.
Roberts-Rocks or diamonds.Always has been and always will be

hooker thou-NO his service is terrible.
Centre maybe but his defense isnt that good.
Best position is 5/8 but not at our club.he would suit a cooper cronk who plays a structured game. With hayne and sandow our 5/8 needs to be more of a structured take control leveled headed player.cause the other two are the opposites

I agree with hollywood.

Of course you do. I'm gorgeous.

Roberts footwork and strength is superior to hayne who has much become a cut out ball specialist.

The honest truth is that HaHa hasn't done anything but throw a cut out for two seasons.

I havent see Hayne do anything special outside the oppositions 10mtrs in over a year atleast.

2 years.

He needs to get his runiings game back on.

Step 1 is to stop being a dancing punce at the back.

Roberts-Rocks or diamonds.Always has been and always will be

Has he ever been played at centre?
