I'd rather see him playing 100% than put himself at risk for nothing.

And although Delaney's not exactly on fire, I'm enjoying his goal kicking!

Yeah he is great

Like I said before he doesn't have a good style and even though he works hard, he will always struggle.

Burt is a much better kicker.

I'm not debating he works hard but his style causes him problems. When he is not right on top of it, it can all go wrong.

Did Brett sack himself on the weekend?

And did Jarryd put up his hands or the captain chose him?

Just interested to know.

Delaney is a better goal kicker than Burty.

Most of his kicks on Sunday were from the sideline, so you can excuse him for having an off day.

His kicks are nice and straight. Geez, just because the kid's running form is low, doesn't mean I can't compliment him on his goal kicking.

Burty has terrible kicking days, Riddell has terrible kicking days, Hayne has terrible kicking days.

So perhaps all their styles are off? You can't put the boot into Delaney when all our kickers do the same thing

on the commentary, Gus said that Brett was kicking the ball quite well, he just wasn't getting the righ result, if that means anything at all...

Delaney is more hit and miss than Burt.

Hayne is a much worse kicker than Delaney. Don't get me wrong I don't think he is a bad kicker just not a brilliant kicker as some have said.

I remember a game in Premier League last year and the guys who attempted to kick goals were:

Delaney
Hayne
Reddy
and by the end of it I thought Peter Lewis might have a shot. They were terrible.

Delaney's problem is he tries to get under the ball to much and so his follow through can suffer.

The best goal kicker is first grade last week didn't even get a kick (John Williams). And David Williams is very handy as well.
